*JJ en Byron J (aka Bo) zijn de gezichten achter Seminole County, een Amerikaanse *Hip-Hop/Rap band met behoorlijke rock-invloeden* waarbij de luisteraar moeiteloos invloeden van grote namen als *Eminem, Evanescence* en *Linkin Park* in de muziek herkent. In het nog korte bestaan van de band realiseerde Seminole County al een *grote naam in Amerika*. You find influences from chugging metal, some vicious rap metal, old school punk, steaming rock, bulging metalcore and even some good old school thrash. If you read this it sounds as a chaotic mishmash, but nothing is further from the truth. They have the gift to blend all styles into one rockin’ spectacle. Melody rises high in all songs. A lot of major solo’s to lick you’re fingers, some slow devastating intense riffs and some glorious drum-attacks, damn this man is a real animal, lighten up their sound. The vocals go from raps, some normal clean vocals and some lost grunts. It’s all of a very high quality and you feel the guys stand for what they are playing. *De Tidal Waves komen voor de tweede maal naar de Benelux!*

Tidal Waves ontstond begin jaren ’80 in de townships van Zuid Afrika en bestaat uit 4 ervaren en getalenteerde muzikanten. Hun muziek is te omschrijven als “Afro-roots-rock-dub-reggae”. In hun songs hebben ze aandacht voor de goede en slechte kanten van Zuid Afrika. Hun muziek is warm en zonnig, maar tegelijkertijd ook kritisch en politiek geïnspireerd. Ondanks het groeiende succes, zijn deze jongens nooit vergeten waar ze vandaan komen. Hun derde album, /Muzik an de Method/, is net uit en daarom komen ze in juni en juli voor de tweede keer naar Europa! Vorig jaar kon u hen al aan het werk zien op Pukkelpop (België) in het kader van een uitwisselingsproject. Ze speelden er op de Wablieft-stage voor een razend enthousiast publiek!

Captain Murphy *(www.captainmurphy.se ), de nieuwe rocksensatie als je het ons vraagt. In april komen ze met hun 2^e album op Bonnier Amigo Music Group/BAM. In november 2004 hebben ze voor het eerst door Europa getoerd als support van* Gluecifer* (Nl shows in de Effenaar en Lvc) en laten zien dat ze alles behalve onder doen aan de grotere in het genre (zoals the *Hellacopters, Gluecifer* en de *Backyard Babies*). Ze toeren dan ook veelvuldig met deze bands door zowel Scandinavië als Europa. Maar nu is het tijd om het alleen te gaan doen en dat zal voor het eerst in juli 2006 gaan gebeuren.
